The Shipping Corporation of India to recruit trainee Marine Engineers

The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., Mumbai, a Government of India Enterprise has invited applications for recruitment as Trainee Marine Engineer. Interested candidates should apply online through SCI website by August 2014 (1700 hours)

As a national carrier, the Shipping Corporation of India owns and operates around one-third of the Indian tonnage and has operating interest practically all areas of the shipping business, servicing both national and international trade.

• Name of the Post: Trainee Marine Engineer

Eligibility:

• B.E/ B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering or equivalent.
  Final year / semester students who expect their results by August 30, 2014 are eligible to apply.
  Maximum Age limit:  28 years (as on January 01, 2015)

Selection Procedure:

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the all India online test and Personal interview.
• Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the All India online test and only candidates qualifying in the online test will be called for Personal Interview to be held at SCI Head Office: The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. Mumbai, Maharashtra.
