The West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) has notified for recruitment in government colleges of nursing in the cadre of West Bengal General Service under Health & Family Welfare Department. Applications are invited online from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to 27 different posts and 81 different posts for lateral induction. The candidates eligible for the post can apply online on or before August 21, 2014.
WBHRB is responsible for selecting and recommending candidates for direct recruitment to posts permanent or temporary for which the appointing authority is the government in the Department of Health & Family Welfare and authority subordinate to the Governor.

Eligibility Criteria
- M. Sc. Degree in Nursing (securing at least 55 per cent marks) acquired from a recognised university with at least fifteen years experience, after acquiring M.Sc. degree, of serving under this state government, in the cadre of West Bengal Nursing Service or West Bengal General Service.
- Candidates should know how to speak and write in Bengali
- Experience and age limit will vary for different posts
Application Fee
- Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 160/- for Clinical Instructor post and Rs 210/- for remaining posts through Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System)
