ASRB to recruit 270 graduates at Assistant posts

Agricultural Scientists Board (ASRB) has invited applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant (DR) in the ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) and its research institute.

Candidates eligible for the post can apply online on or before September 29, 2014.

3. ICAR Institutes: 222 posts

Pay Scale:
    ICAR Headquarters, New Delhi: Rs 9300-34800 + GP Rs 4600
    ICAR Institutes: Rs 9300-34800 + GP Rs 4200

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have graduation degree in any subject from a recognised university or Institution. Candidates who have appeared for the examination today can also apply.

Age Limit

• Candidate's age should be between 20-27 years as on September 29, 2014.
• The age relaxation will be given according to the government rules and regulations.

1. Selection Process: The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of Online Computer Based Test and typing test. 
2. Application Fee: Rs 1000 (General/OBC). Application Fee can be paid using debit/credit card or by making payment at any of  the Syndicate Bank branches using the system generated challan, which will be available in Part -II (payment of fees of the online application form).
3. All female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from payment of any fee.
