Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has invited applications for the recruitment of a photographer. The ASI falls under the Ministry of Culture and is responsible for archaeological studies and the preservation of cultural monuments. The interested candidates can send in their applications to the superintending archaeologist through a proper channel. The candidates should send their applications within three weeks from the date of advertisement on the website

  3. Pay Scale: The candidate will be paid a remuneration in the pay band of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 2,800.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Educational Qualification: The eligible candidates must have passed matriculation examination or must have an equivalent qualification from any recognised board or institution.
  • Experience: The candidate must have a three year experience in indoor and outdoor photography, developing, printing, copying, enlarging and preparing of lantern slides.
  • Age: The candidate must not be more than 25 years of age.
  • Selection Procedure: The candidate will be selected on the basis of an interview, conducted by the Ministry of Culture Archaeological Survey of India. 
  • How to apply: The interested candidates must send in their applications along with relevant documents to the office of the Superintending archaeologist.
