The District and Sessions Court, Khammam has invited applications for recruitment for the post of Junior Assistant. The organisation seeks to fill 25 vacancies. The eligible and interested candidates may apply.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

• The candidate must have completed his/her Class 12 examination conducted by the A.P. State Board of Intermediate Education or any equivalent examination. 
• The candidate must have a qualification in the field of computer operation. 
• The candidate should have adequate knowledge of Telugu and Urdu which are the languages of Khammam district. 
• In case the number of candidates who have the knowledge of the two languages is insufficient, candidates who have adequate knowledge of any one of the said languages will be eligible for appointment.  

Age limit: 

• The candidates must be of the age group of 18 to 34 years as on July 1, 2015.
• There is a 5 year relaxation for SC/ST and BC candidates.
• There is a 10 year relaxation for physically handicapped and Ex-Service Men.

Pay scale: Rs 8,440 to Rs 24,950

Selection process: 

• The selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of presidential order to the extent it applies and subject to Rules of reservation.
• An 80 marks objective written examination will be held on General English, General Knowledge, Judiciary, General Science and General Maths on an OMR basis. For the open candidates, 40 percent marks will be the minimum marks in the written examination to pass. For the backward community, 35 percent shall be the passing marks and for SC and ST category it shall be 30 percent. 
• The candidates who will qualify the written test will be eligible for the oral interview for 20 marks.

Application fee:

• A demand draft for Rs 200 as application fee/examination fee has to be drawn in favour of the Prl. District Judge, Khammam payable at Khammam. 
• The payment of application/examination fee of Rs 200 is exempted to the candidates who belong to SC/ST/PHC/ Ex-Service Men.
