The National Council for Teacher Education is inviting applications for recruitment for the posts of Assistant, Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator. The organisation seeks to fill 14 vacancies. The eligible and interested candidates may apply.

  1. Assistant PB-1: 4
  2. Stenographer Grade D: 5

  4. Data Entry Operator PB-2: 1

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification: 
  1. Assistant PB-2: The candidate must have a degree from a recognised university or equivalent. A two year experience in general administration establishment/stores/accounts in central/state government autonomous or other organisations.
  2. Stenographer Grade D: The candidate must be a Class 12 pass out or its equivalent. The candidate first has to go through a written test, after qualifying the written test a short hand and typing test in English or Hindi on computers at 80 words per minute, 40 words per minute and 30 words per minute respectively.
  3. Lower Division Clerk PB-1: The candidate must be a Class 12 pass out or its equivalent from a recognised board. The candidate must possess a 40 word per minute speed in English and 35 words per minute speed in Hindi on computers.
  4. Data Entry Operator PB-2: The candidate must be a Class 12 pass out in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised board or equivalent. He/she should posses a speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for data entry work to be ascertained through speed test on computer.
  5. Age limit: The candidate should be in the age group of 20 to 27 years.

Pay scale: 
  • Assistant: Rs 29,300-34,300 with a Grade Pay of Rs 4,200
  • Stenographer: Rs 52,000-20,200 with a Grade Pay of Rs 2,400
  • Lower Division Clerk: Rs 52,000-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1,900
  • Data Entry Operator: Rs 52,000-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2,400

  1. Selection process: The selection process will be done on the basis of a written examination followed by short hand writing and then a typing test.
  2. Application procedure:  The candidate has to send a copy of the application form along with all copies of testimonials, caste certificate if any, marks list, experience certificate, short hand speed English and Hindi, typewriting speed in English and Hindi and any other necessary document.
