IBPS notifies for clerk recruitment 2014 through CWE IV

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invited applications for the recruitment of Clerks in Public Sector Banks 2014. The Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by IBPS tentatively in December 2014.

• IBPS will make arrangements for conducting online examination, declare result of online examination and inform the shortlisted candidates about the interview. Interviews will be conducted by the participating organisations and coordinated  by the Nodal Bank in each state/ UT with the help of IBPS.
• Prospective candidates will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examination, interview and provisional allotment, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes

Important Dates (Tentative):

1.     Starting date of Online Application: August 12, 2014
2.     Last date of Online Application: September 01, 2014
3.     Date to Download Call letter for Examination: After 17 November 2014
4.     Date of Examination: December 06/ 07 /13/ 14 /20/ 21/27, 2014

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates should have at least a degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Age Limit: 

• Candidates should belong to the age of 20 years to 28 years
• i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than  August 02, 1986 and not later than August 01, 1994 (both dates inclusive)

How to Apply

• Candidates can apply online only from 12 August 2014 to 01 September 2014and no other mode of application will be accepted.
• Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application available at the official website if IBPS before heading to the payment gateway. Payment can be made either Online or Offline through e-challan.
• After completing the procedure of applying on-line including payment of fees/ intimation charges, the candidate should take a printout of the system generated online application form three days after payment of fees/ intimation charges, 
• ensure the particulars filled in are accurate and retain it along with Registration Number and Password for future reference. 

Application Fees: 

• The application fee is Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs. 600 for all other candidates.

Selection Process

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and interview. The candidate who qualify the written examination will be called for the interview. After clearing second round, the candidates will receive their appointment letters.
