Indian Ordnance Factories recruitment: Instructions to keep in mind while applying

Indian Ordnance Factories have invited applications for recruitment at 1, 572 posts of 'charge man' in various trades. Candidates can apply latest by August 9.

The candidates should keep in mind the following points at the time of applying:

1. No manual applications will be entertained.
2. The candidates are required to apply online only. Once the candidates submit the duly filled application forms, they are required to take a hard copy of the same.
3. Thereafter, the candidates are required to sign the printed copy of the application.
4. The printed copy of the application, along with the original copy of payment challan, has to be dispatched to a postal address given in the printout of the application form.
5. In case, a candidate claims fee exemption, the copies of self-attested certificates supporting the same should be enclosed in the hard copy of the application.
6. Candidates will receive acknowledgement through SMS/email after receipt of the same in physical format.
7. Also, candidates are required to send a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned authorities, which is to be submitted at the time of counseling.
8. Candidates sponsored by Employment Exchange will also have to submit the applications, online itself.

*Counselling and document verification will take place on the basis of merit-cum-choice for allotment of factory. 

• Candidates who wish to apply should ensure that they are not above 27 years.
