The Utkal Grameen Bank recently announced recruitment for various positions of officers and office assistants. The bank operates in 17 districts of western and southern Orissa - Bolangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Boudh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada and Nabarangpur covering 57 per cent of the total districts and 63 per cent of the geographical area and 48 per cent of the total population of the state as per 2001 census.
HERE ARE THE DETAILS: 
  • Total posts: 216
  • Name of the posts and vacancies: Officer Scale I - 68 posts, Officer Scale II - 20 posts and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - 138 posts
  • Age Limit: The Candidates should not be above 32 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for the applicants from the scheduled castes, the scheduled tribes, other backward classes and other categories such as physically handicapped in accordance with the orders issued by the central government from time-to-time.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates who have been declared qualified at the online CWE-II for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/October 2013.
  • Selection Procedure: Interested candidate will be selected on the basis on their performance in RRBs Common Written Examination (CWE II) conducted by IBPS in September/October 2013 and Personal Interview.
  • How to apply: Candidates are required to apply through online mode from the official and authorised bank's website.
  • Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fees Rs 20 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM and Rs 100 for all others in the form of challan (Available in the Bank's website) through CBS accounts at any of the branches of Utkal Grameen Bank.
  • Important Dates: The last date for online registration and fee payment is August 21, 2014.
