55 vacancies for district judge in Gujarat

The High Court of Gujarat has invited applications for the post of District Judge in Ahmedabad. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post online on or before October 31, 2014.

3. Pay Scale: Rs 51,650-Rs 63,260 along with allowances.
4. Age Limit : Candidateâ??s age must be between 35 and 48 years as on 31 October 2014. Age relaxation will be extended as per government norms.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidate should have degree in law from a university recognised by law in India.
• Candidate should be a practicing advocate in courts of civil and/or criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for submission online.
• Candidate should possess basic knowledge of computer application or operation, as set out by the Government of Gujarat in General Administration Department.

• Application Fee :  General Category Candidates need to pay Examination Fees of Rs 1000 + Bank Charges and SC/ ST/ Educationally Backward Classes, Orthopedically Disabled Persons and Ex-Servicemen Categories have to pay Rs 500 + Bank Charges using the Cash Voucher in the prescribed format at any of the Core Banking Service branches of the State Bank of India in the Current Bank Account No. 30725811785, held in the name of Registrar, High Court of Gujarat.
• Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of aggregate Marks obtained in the Main Written Examination and Viva-voce/Personal Interview.
