Jharkhand Public Service Commission has invited applications for Medical Officer posts.

Vacancies

1. There are a total of 556 posts of Medial Officers categorised as:
2. UR - 294
3. SC - 37
4. ST - 225

Eligibility

• The applying candidate should be registered with the Medical Council of India or have gained recognition from a recognised central government medical institute.
• The applicant should have done a course or obtained degree in related field recognised by Indian university/institute.
• The candidate should have done internship for at least one year recognized by the government.
• The minimum age of the candidate should be 23 years and a maximum of 40 years at the time of applying.

Salary

• Selected candidates will be paid in a pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade pay Rs 5400

Selection Process

• Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a written test and interview.
• The written test will consist of four papers of 100 marks each from different fields of medicine.
• The minimum passing marks for candidates in written test from different category candidates is:
• UR- 40%
• SC-34%
• ST- 36.5%
