The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has come out with the final list of candidates selected for the Bihar Judicial Services through Competitive Examination 2014 is out.
  • The interview, final stage of selection, was conducted from  October 8, 2014 to October 18, 2014. Three-hunderd eighteen candidates are finalised on the basis of merit.

  • A  total of 1, 51 candidates who were selected to appear for the Judicial Services (Mains) examination, the results of which were announced in August 28, 2014.

  • Created by the Constitution to select applicants for civil service jobs in Bihar, Public Service Commission (PSC) was created in Bihar. The mandates are listed as follows:
  • Recruitment by conduct of competitive examinations/through interviews to the services of the state government;
  • Advising the state government on the suitability of officers on appointment on promotion as well as transfer from one service to the other;
  • Advising the state government on the matters related with recruitment to various services and posts, framing and amendment of recruitment Rules.
  • Advising the state government in all disciplinary cases relating to different civil services;
  • Advising the state government in the matter of grant of extraordinary pension, reimbursement of legal expenses, etc;
  • Advising the state government on any matter referred to the commission by the governor of Bihar.
