The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar has invited applications for recruitment from eligible and interested candidates for various Research Associate posts.
- Name of the posts: Research Associate
- Pay Scale: Those who will get selected would get a monthly salary of Rs 16000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: The Applicants' age should not exceed 35 years and must be minimum 18 years as on October 27, 2014. Age relaxation would be provided as per the rules.
- Educational Qualification: Those applying for the job should have done M.A / M.Sc in Economics (under regular course) with specialization in Econometrics and Statistics with minimum 55 per cent marks. NET qualified candidates will get special preference. The candidate should also have knowledge of handling various econometric softwares such as EVIEWS, STATA, MICROFIT and also different economic databases such as PROWESS, INDIASTAT etc.
- Selection Procedure: An interview would be conducted to shortlist candidates.
