Walk-in interview at DVC, West Bengal for various posts

Damodar Valley Corporation, West Bengal will be holding a walk-in-interview to recruit candidates on contractual basis. Candidates can apply online for the posts latest by November 4, 2014.

1. General Duty Officer: 4
2. Jr. Nurse Grade 2:  8
3. Jr. Pharmacist Grade 2: 4

Eligibility

• General Duty Officer: Candidates must possess MBBS degree recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and obtained from a recognised medical college/university and one-year experience as a medical practitioner after internship.
• Jr. Nurse Grade 2: Candidates must have done Higher Secondary (Science) or equivalent with diploma in general nursery and midwifery.
• Jr. Pharmacist Gr. II: Higher Secondary (Science) or equivalent with 2-year diploma course in pharmacy from recognised Institution. Registration with Pharmacist Council of any state or central. Candidates should also have passed dresser ship examination or two-year postqualification experience in dressing and working in reputed hospital/nursing home. In case of candidates holding B.Pharma degree, the postqualification experience for one year in dressing will be required.
• Age Limit: Candidates' maximum age limit will not exceed 65 years as on July 1, 2014 for all the categories. 

How to apply

• Candidates meeting the requirements may appear before the interview board only at one of the venues.
• Candidate having appeared at one venue for a particular post will not be allowed to appear again at another venue for the same post.
• The application form can be filled online using DVC website till November 4, 2014.
• Bring a printout of the online application form duly filled in enclosing all supporting documents in original papers along with one set of self-attested Xerox copies of supporting documents at interview venue for verification.
• Candidates are required to bring four recent identical passport -size coloured photographs.
• Before applying, candidates should keep a scanned copy of photograph, signature and left thumb impression ready to be uploaded while applying online.
• Selection procedure: Applicants will face personal interview which is conducted by the organisation. Based on performance in that final selection will be done.
