Chief Commissioner of Income Tax notifies recruitment

Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Tamil Nadu has invited applications for recruitment at various posts against sports quota. The interested candidates fulfilling the requisite for the eligibility criteria can apply by April 6.

Educational qualifications:

• Income- Tax Inspector: Candidates applying for this post should have obtained a graduate degree in any discipline. Candidate must have represented the country in the Olympic games (senior category) or world cup/world cup championship (junior/senior level) or Asian games/Common Wealth games (senior level)
• Tax Assistant: Candidates applying for this post should have obtained a graduate degree in any discipline. Candidate must have represented the country in the world cup/world cup championship (junior/senior level) or Asian games/Common Wealth games (senior level).
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Candidates applying for this post should possess a matriculation (Class 10) Pass or equivalent. Candidates must have represented the country in the world cup/world cup championship (junior/senior level) or Asian games/Common Wealth games (senior level).
• Age limit:Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 and 25 years.

Pay scale:

• Income- Tax Inspector:  Pay Band (PB-2) and Pay Scale of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 plus Grade Pay of Rs 4,600 per month.
• Tax Assistant:  Pay Band (PB-1) and Pay Scale of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 plus Grade Pay of Rs 2,400 per month.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Pay Band (PB-1) with Grade Pay of Rs 1,800 per month.
