Indian Maritime University: Apply for faculty and directoral post

Indian Maritime University (IMU) has sent applications for the recruitment of candidates for directoral and faculty posts. The interested candidates must apply on or before April 27, 5pm. The candidates must send their applications through a proper channel to the registrar of IMU.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Director-The candidate must have an extra first class engineer certificate of competency or extra master.
2. Associate professor- The candidate must have a  master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent from any recognised university.
3. Assistant professor- The candidate must have a  master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent from any recognised university. The candidate must have cleared NET, SLET or SET.

Experience

1. Director- The candidate must have a sailing experience of minimum two years and a minimum experience of 12 years in teaching maritime institutions.
2. Associate professor- The candidate must have an experience of minimum 13 years in a management position in university.
3. Assistant professor- No such experience is required.

Age

1. Director- The candidate must not be more than 60 years.
2. Associate professor- The candidate must not be more than 50 years.
3. Assistant professor- The candidate must not be more than 40 years.
