Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) invites applications for recruitment to various vacant positions

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has invited applications for recruitment to its various posts. NFR has five divisions namely, Tinsukia, Lumding, Rangiya, Alipurduar & Katihar and at the field level these divisions are directly responsible for training operations and reports to general manager.

Vacancies

• Total Posts: 12

Name of the posts:

1. Scouts/Guide: 2 Posts
2. Scouts/Guide: 10 Posts

Pay Scale:

1. For Post I: Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 with grade pay of Rs 1900
2. For Post II: Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 with grade pay of Rs 1800

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• The age of the candidate must  more than 18 years but not more than 33 years.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed 10th Class/Matriculation/ITI or equivalent from a recognised board. He must be a president's scout/guide/rover/ranger or Himalayan wood badge holder or a pre-HWB trained scout leader/advanced trained guide/leader/captain.

Selection Procedure:

• A written test and an interview would be conducted to select the candidates.
