Eligibility -

1. SRF - M.Sc/M.V.Sc/M.Tech Degree in Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology (Reproductive physiology) with 1st division or 60 per cent marks or equivalent overall grade/ M.Sc degree in Animal Biochemistry/Animal Nutrition/ Biochemistry/Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 1st division or 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade overall grade point with least two
2. RA- Ph.D or M.Sc/ M.Vsc/ M.Tech  degree in Animal  Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/ Animal Biotechnology / Biotechnology/Life Sciences or any discipline of life Sciences with 1st division or 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade overall grade point with least two years of research experience as evident from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Trainings/other engagement in the area of Animal Biochemistry/ Biochemistry /Animal/Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or any discipline of life Sciences/Post Graduate degree in Dairy Science /Agricultural Science /Veterinary Science/Humanity/ Life Sciences/Computer Science from recognised university.
3. JRF - Master Degree with 1st Division in Dairy Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ M.Sc/M.Sc (Hons)/M.V.Sc/ M.Tech degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/Life Sciences or any other allied disciplines./M.Sc/M.Tech degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Food Microbiology/ Dairy Technology/Food Technology /Food and Microbial Technology/Dairy Chemistry./ First class M.Sc/ M.V.Sc /M.Tech. in Biotechnology  OR Life Sciences/Allied Sciences with dissertation/specialization in Genetic Engineering/Molecular Biology/ Structural Biology.
4. Cat-I - Matriculate with at least one year certificate in Computer from recognised Institution/ least one year certificate in Fitter / Plumber from recognised Institution/ least one year certificate in Tractor Mechanic /Motor Mechanic from recognised Institution.

Cat-II - 

• Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Sciences / Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry from a recognised university under VCI regulations/ Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Agriculture with  Animal Husbandry and Dairying from a recognised University/ Bachelor's Degree in Science with Chemistry and any two of the following: Zoology, Botany / Mathematics or Physics, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology,/Biotechnology from a recognized University/ Institution./ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University. / Bachelor's Degree/ Three years Diploma in Civil Engg. from a recognises university/ institution/Bachelor's Degree/ Three years Diploma in Electronics and Communication  from a recognised university/ institution.
• Cat-III - Master's Degree in Veterinary Science / Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognised university under VCI regulations/ Master's Degree in Computer Science / Computer Application or its equivalent from a recognised University.
• Admn - 12thClass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University
• A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m: correspond to 10500  KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

Age Limit- 

• SRF - Men - 35, Women - 40 (on the date of the interview)
• RA- Men - 40, Women - 45 (on the date of the interview)
• JRF - Men -30, Women -35 (on the date of the interview)
• Cat-I - 18-30 years
• Cat-II-18- 30 years
• Cat-III-18- 35 years
• Admin- 18-27 years

P.S. - Relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC and PHC candidates as per GOI/ICAR rules

Selection Procedure -

• SRF, RA and JRF - Walk in interview
• Cat-I, Cat-II, Cat III and Admin - written test/practical test/Typing test and interview after the screening process.
