The Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Sr. Residents, Central Casualty Services, Demonstrator, Medical Officer and EMO. Interested and eligible candidates are required to send their job applications before June 3, 2014.

Eligibility criteria:

• The applicants should possess an MBBS Degree and Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (M.D./M.S./M.D.S/D.M./M.Ch/DNB/MD Hospital Administration/MD General Medicine) or an equivalent in the concerned specialty.

Age limit:
Senior Residents and Central Casualty Services:

• The age of the candidate should not be more than 33 years. However, in case the candidate possesses a post doctoral degree, the age limit is extended to 35 years.

Demonstrator, Medical Officer (MO)/ Lady Medical Officer (LMO) and Emergency Medical Officer:

• The age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years. However, in case the candidate possesses a post doctoral degree, the age limit is extended to 33 years.

Application fee:

• The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 500/-(Rs 250/- for SC Candidates) in the form of a Demand Draft, payable at Chandigarh, drawn in favour of Director Principal, Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh.

Selection process:

• The candidates will be selected for the advertised recruitment on the basis of their performance in the written examination and interview.
