JNTU recruitment to 4 various posts

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust has invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Pilot, Assistant Manager Marine Engineering and Accounts Officer. Selected candidates will be hired on probation for an initial period of two years. Last date for application is May 29, 2014.

Vacancies:

Pilot: 2 posts

• Salary: Pay scale of Rs 32,900 - 3 per cent - 58,000
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 40 years. The candidate should have a certificate of competency as Master of a Foreign-going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum one year post-qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign-going ship.

Assistant Manager Marine Engineering: 1 post

• Salary: Pay scale of Rs 20,600 - 3 per cent - 46,500
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be less than 35 years. The candidate should have a MOT II Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum two years experience as independent Watch Keeping Engineer on board a foreign going ship.

Accounts Officer: 1 post

• Salary: Pay scale of Rs 20,600 - 3 per cent - 46,500.  Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be less than 30 years. The candidate should be a Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum two years experience in executive cadre in the field of Finance/Accounting in an industrial or commercial or Government undertaking.

Selection

• Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts based on performance in a written test and interview. Only candidates short listed on the basis of merits will be called for the written test.
