Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment to various posts of Livestock Officer, Marketing Officer and Assistant Professor. Last date for application is May 29, 2014.

Livestock Officer: 1 post

• Department: Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Ministry of Agriculture
• Salary: Pay Scale 15,600 - 39,100 (PB-3) + Rs 5,400 (Grade Pay)
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. The candidate should have a
• Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and be registered with the Veterinary Council of India or Veterinary Council of States.
• Experience: Candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in Cattle and Livestock Development or Animal Health or Poultry or Meat and Meat Products.

Marketing Officer (Oils and Fats): 5 posts

• Department: Directorate of Marketing and Inspection, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture
• Salary: Pay Scale 9,300 - 34,800 (PB-2) + Rs 4,600 (Grade Pay)
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. The candidate should have a Master's Degree in Chemistry or Agriculture or Chemistry or Dairy Chemistry or Dairying from a recognized University or equivalent OR a Bachelor's Degree in Oil Technology or Food Technology or Chemical Technology or Dairy Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Experience: Candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in the field of analytical work of organic material.

Assistant Professor (Chemistry): 1 post

• Department: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon, Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Administration
• Salary: Pay Scale 15,600 - 39,100 (PB-3) + Rs 6,000 (Academic Grade Pay)
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. The candidate should have a Master's Degree in Chemistry with minimum 55 per cent marks from a recognized university or institute. Also, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET / SET.

Assistant Professor (English): 1 post

• Department: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon, Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Administration
• Salary: Pay Scale 15,600 - 39,100 (PB-3) + Rs 6,000 (Academic Grade Pay)
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. The candidate should have a Master's Degree in English with minimum 55 per cent marks from a recognized university or institute. Also, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET / SET.

Assistant Professor (Physics): 1 post

Selection

• Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in an interview. Only short listed candidates based on academic merit will be called for the interview.
