RBI Ahmedabad is recruiting for 15 vacant posts 2014

Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Ahmedabad has invited job applications for recruitment to the post of Security Guards - Class IV cadre - from ex-servicemen residing in Gujarat and Union Territory of Diu and Daman. Interested and eligible candidates are required to send their on or before May 30, 2014.

Vacancy details:

• Security Guards : Class IV cadre: 15 posts
• Place of recruitment: State of Gujarat and Union Territories of Daman & Diu
• Pay: Rs 6350 per month (initial pay) in the scale of Rs 6350-220-7230-260-8010-300-8910-400-9710-500-11710-680-13750 (20 years)

Eligibility criteria:

• The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 25 years as on April 1 2014. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC and ST candidates and three years for OBC candidates.
• The applicant should have passed the class 10th examination or be an undergraduate.  He should be an ex-serviceman with proper military background and experience of handling of arms and ammunition in the military.
• Those ex-military men who have passed the qualifying examination from outside the recruitment zone either before or after leaving military service are also eligible.

NOTE: Women/ Orthopedically handicapped/ disabled ex-servicemen are not eligible.

Selection process:

• The candidates will be selected for the advertised vacancy on the basis of their performance in the written test and/ or Interview.
