GSECL invites application for recruitment to Junior Engineers post through GATE 2014 scores

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd. (GSECL) has invited application for recruitment for the post of Vidyut Sahayak  or Junior Engineers  through GATE Scores in the fields of Civil Engineering, Control &Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

The selected candidates (80 per cent through GATE score) shall be appointed initially for the period of two years on fix remuneration, after completion of satisfactory service of 02 years will be appointed as regular Junior Engineer.

Eligibility :

1. Candidates should have full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering i.e. BE (Electrical/Mechanical/I & C and Civil) from recognized University with minimum 60 per cent for Un-reserved and 55 per cent for Reserved candidates.
2. Knowledge of Gujarati is essential
3. Maximum age limit is 30 years. 

Selection procedure :

1. Candidates will be short listed on the basis of Academic Performance / Experience / Age and will be called for written test and interview. Written test will be Objective/ MCQ type in English language relating to subject knowledge.

1. Selection will be based on the basis of your GATE 2014 score, and on how well you perform in the Personal Interview.

Application fees:

1. A Demand Draft of Rs 500 for Unreserved, SEBC and PH, Rs 250 for SC and ST (Caste certificates of Gujarat only) should be drawn in favor of Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd payable at Vadodara before submitting their online application.
