High Court of Gujarat notifies recruitment at 18 posts of Legal Assistant

High Court of Gujarat, Ahmedabad has invited applications for recruitment at the post of Legal Assistant on contractual basis for a period of 11 months extendable up to three years. Interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by April 27.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

• Candidates applying for the post should have acquired a degree in law from any Indian University or institute approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Also, candidates are required to possess basic knowledge of computer applications and operations.

Age limit:

• Candidates applying for the post of Legal Assistant should age between 18 and 35 years.

Pay scale:

• Candidates will be paid Rs15, 000 per month.

Application fees:

• Candidates are required to submit Rs200 as application fees along with the bank charges in the current bank account number '30725811785' held in the name of the Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, Sola, Ahmedabad, maintained with the State Bank of India.

Selection process:

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the preliminary examination (screening test) and viva voice.

How to apply:

• In order to apply, candidates are required to download the application form from the official website of the Gujarat High Court. Candidates are required to upload their recent passport size photographs and signatures too.
• Candidates are required to download their 'e-call letter' or admission slip in order to appear for the examination and viva voice.
• After successfully submitting the online applications, candidates are required to take a hard copy of the duly submitted application form.
• Candidates in the Central Govt/ State Govt/ Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) are required to submit their applications through proper channels.
