IIT Kanpur is recruiting for 55 vacant posts 2014

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur has invited applications for 55 vacant administrative and technical posts. Interested and eligible candidates are supposed to apply for the advertised posts online before May 5, 2014.

Vacancy details:

• Medical officer: One post
• Junior superintendent: Four posts
• Sanitary inspector Gr.I: One post
• Junior technical superintendent: 22 posts
• Junior technical: 13 posts
• Junior assistant: 10 posts
• Assistant coach: Four posts

Mode of appointment:

Candidate will be appointed on contract basis for five years (likely to be conformed on the basis of performance).

Selection process:

• Candidates will be selected for the advertised posts on the basis of their performance in the written test/ practical test and interview.

Application fee:

1. Candidates are required to pay an application fee (non-refundable) of Rs 250 in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of "The Registrar, IIT Kanpur", payable at Kanpur.

Note: The DD will not be refunded or re-adjusted. Also no other mode of payment will be accepted.
