RBI Bangalore is recruiting for 7 vacant posts 2014

The Reserve Bank of India, Bangalore is recruiting ex-servicemen for the post of Security Guards (Staff - Class IV). Interested and eligible candidates are supposed to send in their job applications before April 30, 2014.

Vacancy details:

1. Security Guard: 7 posts

Total emoluments: Rs 15545 per month (at the starting scale).  

Age limit:

• The applicant should not be more than 25 years of age as on April 1, 2014. Age relaxations are applicable as follows:
• OBC category: 28 years
• SC/ST category: 30 years

Eligibility criterion:

• Applicant should be an ex-servicemen residing in Karnataka to be eligible to apply for the advertised post.
• Applicant should have at least passed class 10th examination. An Ex-Serviceman who has passed the Army Special Certificate of Education will be deemed to be a Matriculate. Applicant should be below the undergraduate education level. Graduates or degree holders are not considered eligible to apply.

Required experience:  

• Applicant must be an ex-serviceman with proper military background who has actually been in military service and has experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military.  

Selection procedure:

• Candidates will be selected for recruitment to the advertised position on the basis of their performance in the written test/ interview. However, only those candidates who have been short-listed will be called for the written test/ interview.

How to apply:

• The format of the application form present in the notification may be preferably type written or hand written in Kannada/Hindi/English (block letters) on an A4 size paper. 
• Candidates have to send the application form along with required documents, ordinary post, to 'The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource Management Department, Recruitment Section, Bangalore 560001.
• Candidates can also deposit the applications in the box kept at the entrance of the Reserve Bank of India's Bangalore office on any working day between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm on week days (except Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays).
• The envelope containing the application form must super-scribe "Application for the post of Security Guard".
• No applications will be received in person or any acknowledgement given thereof.
