Lakshadweep Directorate of Education hiring laboratory assistants

The Directorate of Education, Lakshadweep has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Laboratory Assistant on contract basis. Interested candidates can apply by May 13, 2014.

1. Laboratory Assistant: 12 posts
2. Pay Scale: Rs 12,000/- per month

Eligibility criteria:

1. The applicant should hold BSc degree from a recognised University or its equivalent with Physics / Chemistry / Zoology / Botany as one of the main subjects.

Selection procedure:
Selection for the advertised posts will be done on the basis of the following criteria:

1. 80 per cent weightage to academic qualification.
2. 10 per cent weightage to work experience.
3. 10 per cent weightage to higher qualification.
