The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), New Delhi will recruit 19 candidates on transfer on deputation on foreign service/re-employement/short-term contract basis/direct recruitment. Candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before November 15, 2014.

Eligibility

(I) For Posts by Deputation

Officers working in the similar or equivalent post under the central or state government or Union Territories:
  • Indian Legal Service Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
  • With relevant experience of the regular service in relevant pay band plus appropriate grade pay or equivalent; and
  • Possess the relevant qualification & experience for the concerned post.
  • Candidates must possess Post-Graduate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in concerned field from a recognised university or institution with appropriate research work experience.
(II) For Posts by Direct Recruitment
  1. Stenographer (Grade - D): Candidates should be Class 12 Passed or equivalent from a recognised board or university. Shorthand Speed of 80 WPM is preferred.
  2. Staff Car Driver: Candidates should be at least Class 8 passed or equivalent from a recognised board or institution.  Applicants should have valid driving license of Motor Cars.
  3. Age Limit & Relaxation : Age Limit for the candidate should be as on last date of receipt of application and age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules.
  • For Post 1 to 4: Maximum 56 years.
  • For Post 5: Not exceeding 27 years.
  • For Post 6: Between 23 to 30 years.
  • Selection Procedure  : Candidates short-listed should through their C.V. will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test followed by the Skill Test/Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
