Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has invited applications
for 680 posts of transport multipurpose assistant on contract. Valid
conductor licence is a must for all those applying for this post. Further details about the post, eligibility criteria, pay-scale and other relevant information are given below :

- Pay Scale: Rs 4,000 with performance-based incentive
- Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed Class X and carry a valid conductor licence.
- Age Limit: Age should between 18 and 45 years as on January 1 of the year in which he/she has applied for the post. Relaxation for five years to SC/ST candidates.
- Other Eligibility Conditions: Candidate must be a bonafied resident of Himachal Pradesh, must be of sound mind and good health, and should not have any past record of any crime/moral turpitude.
- Selection Procedure: A written examination and an interview would be conducted to select candidates. The test would be of matric standard consisting of English, Hindi, Math and GK sections. Further details can be obtained from the HRTC website.
- The list of qualified candidates would be displayed on websites (www.hrtc.gov.in) and (www.hptechboard.com) after September 10, 2014 and would also be intimidated through SMSs .
- How to Apply: Interested candidates are required to apply as per given format.
- Application Fee : The application form can be obtained against a cash payment of Rs 100 (as processing charges) from any office of the regional manager as mentioned on the website.
- Important Dates : Last date for application submission is July 23, 2014.
- Admit cards will be available from August 21, 2014.
- Written examination's date is August 31, 2014.
