The Army Educational Corps of Indian Army has invited job applications from male candidates for the post of Havildar Education in Group 'X' and 'Y'. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply on or before August 10, 2014.
Vacancy details:
- Name of the post: Havildar Education in Group 'X' and 'Y'
- Science stream: 97 posts
- Arts stream: 98 posts
Pay scale:
- Group 'X': B-1 (Rs 5,200-20,200) + Grade Pay of Rs 2,800 + Military Service of Rs 2,000 + Group x pay 1,400 per month
- Group 'Y': B-1 (5,200-20,200) + Grade Pay of Rs 2,800 + Military Service of Rs 2,000 per month.
Eligibility criteria:
- Science stream: the candidate should have done MSc/ BSc/ MCA/ BCA/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (IT) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Electronics or Computer Science.
- Arts stream: The candidates should have completed MA/ BA with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics or Sociology.
Age limit:
- The age of civilian candidate must be between 20 to 25 years as on the first day of recruitment rally.
- The age of the remustered candidate must be between 20 to 28 years as on the first day of recruitment rally.
Selection process:
- The candidates will be selected for recruitment to the advertised post on the basis of screening, physical fitness test, medical standards, written examination and teaching aptitude test/ interview.
