Office of District Judge Nabarangpur recruiting for 22 vacant posts

Office of the District Judge Nabarangpur has invited job applications for the post of Stenographer, Clerk-cum-Copyist and Typist in the Judgeship of Naharangpur. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply before July 10, 2014.

Vacancy details:

Total vacancies: 22 posts

1. Stenographer Grade-III:  5 posts

• Pay Scale:  Pay Band of Rs 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2,400
• Eligibility criteria: The candidates should have completed their HSC (12th Class) and hold a diploma in Computer Application with minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 word per minute in English typewriting. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 32 years.

2. Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist: 12 posts

• Pay Scale:  Pay Band of Rs 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1,900
• Eligibility criteria: The candidates should have completed their HSC (12th Class) and hold a diploma in Computer Application. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 32 years.

3. Junior Typist: 5 posts

• Pay Scale:  Pay Band of Rs 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1,900
• Eligibility criteria: The candidates should have completed their HSC (12th Class) and hold a diploma in Computer Application with minimum speed of 40 word per minute in English typewriting. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 32 years.

Selection procedure:

• Candidates will be selected for recruitment to the advertised posts on the basis of their performance in the written test, computer science (practical), shorthand/ type-writing test and interview.

Examination fees:

• The candidates have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 100. the payment has to be made through the Treasury Challan under the head "0070-Other Administrative Services-01-Administration of Justice-501-Services & Service Fees-9904650-Law Department-9916738-Examination fees for Recruitment conducted by Orissa District & Sub-ordinate Courts".
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST category are exempted from payment of examination fee.

How to apply:

• Interested and eligible candidates have to send their duly filled applications along with attested copies of required documents, original copy of the challan and 2 recent passport-size photographs, two self-addressed stamped envelopes to: Office of the District Judge, Nabarangpur, Odisha.
• The envelope containing the application should be super scribed with the category of the post applied for (in bold letters).
