The Indian Army has invited applications for recruitment for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by September 1.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
- The candidates should possess BVSc/ BVSc and AH degree.
Age limit:
- The candidates applying for this post should be between 21 and 32 years.
Selection process:
- The candidates will be short listed through a two-stage selection process. The candidates qualifying Stage I will have to appear for Stage II- group test, psychological test and interview.
- The candidates recommended by SSB, declared medically fit, will be inducted for training in order of merit. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates at SSB's. Short-listed candidates will be commissioned in the rank of a 'captain' and would be required to serve the Indian Army for a period of five years.
Pay Scale:
- A basic pay of Rs 15, 600 Grade Pay of Rs 6, 100, Military Service Pay of Rs 6, 000 and other admissible allowances including Non- Practice Allowance (NPA)
How to apply:
- In order to apply, the candidates are required to send their duly filled application forms to 'The Directorate General Remount Veterinary Services (RV-1) QMG's Branch, Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army), West Block 3, Ground Floor, Wing No-4, RK Puram, New Delhi - 110 066' by ordinary post. The candidates are required to send along the attested copies of relevant documents/certificates along. Besides, the candidates are required to send their self-attested photographs and two self-addressed stamped envelopes.
