Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of DGM (Legal) and Law Officer. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply before July 25, 2014.

  1. DGM- Legal: 1 post
  2. Law Officer: 2 posts

Eligibility criteria:
  1. DGM- Legal: The candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) (from a university/ institution/board recognised by government of India/approved by government regulatory bodies and must be enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.
  2. They should also have minimum 5 to 7 years experience of practice at Bar of Judicial services or should have experience of working with a reputed solicitator firm and/or 10-year experience as a Law Officer in the legal department of a scheduled commercial bank or the Central/State government or of a PSU.
  3. The age of the candidates should not be more than 62 years.
  4. Law Officer: The candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) (from a university/institution/board recognised by government of India/approved by government regulatory bodies and must be enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.
  5. They should also have minimum 3-year experience of practice at Bar of Judicial services or should have experience of working with a reputed solicitator firm or as a Law Officer in the legal department of a scheduled commercial bank or the Central/State government or of a PSU.
  6. The age of the candidates should be between 20 to 35 years.
