Ministry of Defence opens job vacancy at multiple posts

Ministry of Defence, Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Electronics) Mumbai has invited applications for recruitment at various posts. The Ministry of Defence will coordinate and supervise all agencies and functions of the government relating directly to national security and the Indian armed forces and has the largest budget of India's federal departments. Eligibility criteria:

Age limit:

• The candidates willing to apply should age between 18 to 27 years.

Educational qualification:

• For the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC): The candidates applying for this post should have passed class XII or an equivalent qualification from a recognised board. The candidates should possess a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
• For the post of Technician: The candidates applying for this post should possess an Industrial Training Institute Pass Certificate in any one of the trades such as Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Radio & Television Mechanic, Wireman, Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance or its equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved as such by the Central Government or State Government.
• For the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) (Sanitary): The candidates applying for this post should have passed class X or equivalent examination from a recognised board.

Pay Scale:

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Rs5, 200-20, 200 + grade pay Rs1, 900
• Technician (Semi Skilled): Rs 5, 200-20, 200 + grade pay Rs1, 800
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) (Sanitary): Rs5, 200-20, 200 + grade pay Rs1, 800

Selection process:

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview.
