Oil India Limited recruits for post of drilling engineers

Oil India Limited (OIL) is recruiting to the post of Drilling Engineers on contract basis though a walk-in interview. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview on July 9, 2014.

Venue of interview: Conference Room, Pipeline Headquarters, Oil India Limited, Udayan Vihar, Narengi, Guwahati, Assam-781 171

Vacancy details:

1. Drilling Engineer (D-01/14)
   Pay scale: Contract fee of Rs 80000 + Rs 8000 as accommodation allowance and Rs 1500 as medical allowance per month.
   Age limit: The candidate's age should not be more than 36 years as on July 9, 2014.
2. Drilling Engineer (D-02/14)
   Pay scale: Contract fee of Rs 70000 + Rs 7000 as accommodation allowance and Rs 1500 as medical allowance per month.
   Age limit: The candidate's age should not be more than 32 years as on July 9, 2014.
3. Drilling Engineer (D-03/14)
   Pay scale: Contract fee of Rs 60000 + Rs 6000 as accommodation allowance and Rs 1500 as medical allowance per month.
   Age limit: The candidate's age should not be more than 29 years as on July 9, 2014.

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidate should have a BE or B.Tech degree in Engineering or PGD in Petroleum Exploration or equivalent from a recognised institute/ university with post qualification relevant experience.
• The candidate should know about operation of the rigs and down hole complicacies and be able to take decisions relating to down hole and surface problems in drilling/ work over wells, operating draw works and handling of brake.

Selection process:

• The candidate will be selected for recruitment to the advertised posts on the basis of their performance in the interview.

How to apply:

• Interested and eligible candidates have to attend the interview being held at Pipeline Headquarters, Oil India Limited, Udayan Vihar, Narengi, Guwahati, Assam-781 171 on June 9.
• The candidates have to carry their original mark sheets, certificates and photocopies of the same and two passport size photographs to the interview.
