National Institute of Plant Health Management Recruitment for 5 Posts

National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM) has invited applications for the recruitment to posts of Senior System Analyst, Financial Advisor, Assistant Scientific Officer, Office Superintendent (Accounts) and Hindi Translator. Selected candidates will be hired initially on probation. Last date for application is July 11, 2014.

Vacancies

1. Senior System Analyst: 1 post

• Salary: Pay Band (PB - 3) and Pay Scale of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 plus Grade Pay of Rs 7,600 per Month 
• Eligibility: The candidate should have a ME/ M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Computer Science Engineering from a recognised university. 
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum eight years of experience in management of IT projects/programmes including training programmes/teaching.

2. Financial Advisor: 1 post

• Salary: Pay Band (PB - 3) and Pay Scale of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 plus Grade Pay of Rs 6,600 per Month
• Eligibility: The candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Commerce or equivalent from a recognised university/institute.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in accounts work and should have knowledge of government rules and regulations and office procedures pertaining to budget preparation, accounts and audits

3. Assistant Scientific Officer (PMD): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Band (PB - 2) and Pay Scale of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 plus Grade Pay of Rs 4,200 per month
• Eligibility: The candidate should have a Masters degree in Organic Chemistry or Organic Analytical Chemistry or Agricultural chemistry or Agricultural Entomology or Plant Pathology or Agrichemicals and Pest Management or Environmental science or Environmental chemistry or Biotechnology from a recognised university.

4. Office Superintendent (Accounts): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Band (PB - 2) and Pay Scale of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 plus Grade Pay of Rs 4,200 per month
• Eligibility: The candidate should have a Bachelors degree in commerce or equivalent from a recognised university/institute.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in accounts work and should have knowledge of government rules and regulations and office procedures pertaining to budget preparation, accounts and audits

5. Hindi Translator - (O.S): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Band (PB - 2) and Pay Scale of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 plus Grade Pay of Rs 4,200 per month
• Eligibility: The candidate should have a Masters degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level or Masters degree from a recognized university in English with Hindi as a subject at Degree level and a Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and English to Hindi. 

Selection

• Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in a written test and an interview. Only candidates short listed on the basis of merit will be called for the written test.
