Reserve Bank of India, Thiruvananthapuram has invited job applications from ex-servicemen (male only) for recruitment to the post of Security Guard in Class-IV cadre. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply for the post before August 1, 2014.
Vacancy details:
- Name of the post: Security Guard
- Total number of posts: 10 posts
- Pay scale: Rs 15679 per month (approximately)
Eligibility criteria:
- The candidates should have at least passed his class 10th exam and the maximum qualification of the exam should be of a graduate. The candidate should also have relevant experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military.
- An ex-serviceman having passed Army Class I Special Certificate of Education will be deemed to be a matriculate. However, matriculate ex-servicemen with 15 years of defence service are considered as 'Graduates'.
- The age of the candidate should not be more than 25 years as on June 1, 2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Selection process:
- The candidates will be selected for the advertised post on the basis of their performance in the written test and/or interview.
