Bihar PSC notifies recruitment at 31 posts

The Bihar Public Service Commission (PSC) has invited applications for recruitment at the post of principals and vice principals. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by July 21.

1. Principal: 16 posts
2. Vice principal: 15 posts

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

• The candidates applying for either of these posts should have acquired a degree in engineering from a recognised university.

Age limit:

• The candidates applying for this post should be between 22 and 37 years of age as on August 1, 2014.

Pay scale:

• Principal: Rs 9, 300 - 34, 800 with grade pay Rs 4, 800
• Vice principal: Rs 9, 300 - 34, 800 with grade pay Rs 4, 800

Bihar PSC:

• Created by the Constitution of India for the purpose of recruiting, Bihar Public Service Commission was formed on November 1, 1956 after its separation from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. It has its headquarters at Patna. The first Chairman of the Bihar Public Service Commission was Shri Rajandhari Sinha.
