Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has invited applications for the recruitment to posts of Director/Joint Director and Professor. Selected candidates will be hired for the Navi Mumbai branch. Last date for application is June 20, 2014.

Director (Law) OR Joint Secretary (Law): 1 post

Director (Law)

• Salary: Pay Band (PB-4) Rs 37,400 - 67,000 + Grade Pay Rs 8,700/- (Gross Salary per annum - Rs 13.4 lakh approx.)    
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 45 years. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent-full time degree) from recognised Indian universities/institutes. The degree should be recognised by the Bar Council of India.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 10 years experience of which 5 years in handling legal matters in large industrial organizations / Academic Institutions / Professional bodies / Associations of similar nature and with proven leadership qualities.

Joint Secretary (Law)

• Salary: Pay Band (PB-4) Rs 37,400 - 67,000 + Grade Pay Rs 10,000 (Gross Salary per annum - Rs 15.3 lakh approx.)
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 45 years. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent-full time degree) from recognized Indian universities / institutes. The degree should be recognised by the Bar Council of India.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 15 years experience of which 5 years in handling legal matters in large industrial organizations / Academic Institutions / Professional bodies / Associations of similar nature and with proven leadership qualities.

Joint Director (Internal Audit) OR Director (Internal Audit): 1 post
 
Joint Director (Internal Audit)

• Salary: Pay Band (PB-3) Rs 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs 7,600 (Gross Salary per annum - Rs 8.9 lakh approx.)    
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 45 years. The candidate should have a degree in Commerce and Membership of ICSI/ICAI/ICAI (Cost).
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 7  years experience of which 3 years in handling maintenance of books of accounts, Inter - unit reconciliation,  finalization of accounts in compliance with statutory requirements,  internal and statutory audit, tax compliances including service tax and TDS, investment of funds  and Budgetary control.

Director (Internal Audit)

• Salary: Pay Band (PB-4) Rs 37,400 - 67,000 + Grade Pay Rs 8,700 (Gross Salary per annum - Rs 13.4 lakh approx.)    
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 45 years. The candidate should have a degree in Commerce and be a Member of ICSI/ICAI/ICAI(Cost).
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 10 years experience of which 5 years in handling maintenance of books of accounts, Inter - unit reconciliation,  finalization of accounts in compliance with statutory requirements,  internal and statutory audit, tax compliances including service tax and TDS, investment of funds  and Budgetary control

Assistant Professor: 3 posts (Taxation, Company Law, Commercial Law)

• Salary: Pay Band (PB-3) Rs 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs 6,000 (Gross Salary per annum - Rs 6.7 lakh approx.)    
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 40 years. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Economics/ Law/ Commerce/ Management/ Accounts/Finance / any other subject relevant to CS course, Master's Degree with atleast 55per cent marks or equivalent or a pass in CS/CA/CMA.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 3 years teaching, research or industry experience, excluding the period of research for Ph.D. degree.

Associate Professor: 3 posts (Accountancy/Audit, International Business, Financial Markets)

• Salary: Pay Band (PB-4) Rs 37,400 - 67,000 + Grade Pay Rs 9,000 (Gross Salary per annum - Rs 13.5 lakh approx.)
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 45 years. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Economics/ Law/ Commerce/ Management/ Accounts/ Finance / and a Master Degree with at least 55 per cent marks or equivalent or a pass in CS/CA/CMA.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 9 years of teaching, research or industry experience, excluding the period of research for Ph.D. degree.

Selection

• Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in a test and interview.
