WBPSC recruits for the post of Deputy Director, Assistant Director

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has invited job applications for the post of Deputy Director and Assistant Director. Interested and eligible candidates can apply before July 15, 2014.
Vacancy details:

• Deputy Director: 1 post
  Pay scale: Rs 15, 600 to Rs 42, 000(P.B. -4A) plus Grade Pay Rs 5,400
• Assistant Director: 27 posts
  Pay scale: Rs 15, 600 to Rs 42, 000 (P.B.-4A) plus Grade Pay Rs 5,400

Total number of posts: 28 posts

Eligibility criteria:

Deputy Director:

• The candidate should have a Master's degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/Economics from a recognised university. The candidates should have five-year research experience amongst the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes of West Bengal and must have published papers/books related to the same.
• The age of the candidate should be below 35 year.

Assistant director:

• The candidate should have a degree in Engineering or Technology or second class Master's degree in Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce or equivalent qualifications from a recognised university/institute. The candidate should also have three years' experience in promotion and development of Cottage & Small Scale Industries.
• Or the candidates should hold a degree from a recognised university or diploma in Engineering/ Technology from a recognised university/ institute or equivalent qualifications plus five years' experience in promotion and development of Cottage & Small Scale Industries.
• The age of the candidate should be below 35 year.
