Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Principal and Lecturer. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the advertised posts on or before June 30, 2014.

• Principal B.Ed. College: 1 post
• Lecturer B.Ed. College: 10 posts
• Principal, DIET: 3 posts
• Lecturer DIET: 17 posts

Total number of vacancies: 31 posts

Eligibility criteria:

• Principal B.Ed. College: The candidates should have a PhD degree in Education or 10 years teaching experience and Master Degree in Science/Humanities or M.Ed. or M.A. in Education.
  Lecturer B.Ed. College: The candidates should have a Master degree in Science/Humanities and M. Ed or MA in Education with B.Ed.
  Principal, DIET: The candidates must have 5 years teaching experience in primary or elementary teacher education institution with M. Ed or MA with Diploma/Degree in Primary/Elementary Education.
  Lecturer DIET: The candidates must possess a M. Ed or MA with Diploma/Degree in Primary/Elementary Education.

Selection process:

• The candidates will be selected for the advertised posts on the basis of performance in written examination and interview.
