Department of Posts, Assam has invited applications for recruitment to various posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by July 2.

Post names:

• Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS): 27 posts
• Postman/ Mail Guard: 50 posts    

Eligibility criteria:

Age limit:

• Candidates applying for either of the posts should age between 18 and 27 years.

Educational qualification:

• Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS): Candidates applying for this post should have passed matriculation exam or they should have qualified ITI.
• Postman/ Mail Guard: Candidates applying for this post should have passed matriculation exam.

Selection process:

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the aptitude test.

Pay Scale:

• Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs 5,200-20,200 with grade pay Rs 1,800 per month.
• Postman/ Mail Guard: Rs 5,200-20,200 with grade pay Rs 2,000 per month

• Candidates are required to log in to the official website and submit the duly filled application forms. No other means of application will be accepted.

Application fees:

• Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 400 as the examination fee. Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 100 as application fee too. The scheduled castes/ scheduled tribes/ physically impaired/ women are exempted from payment examination fee.
